π³ High-Quality Material: Our grounding mat is made of high-quality, comfortable vegan leather that is infused with carbon, a non-toxic natural material which makes the mat conductive and gives it earthing properties once connected to a grounded electrical outlet. The backside is made of black, durable, non-slip rubber. This matβs dimensions are 33Γ60cm. It is suitable for use on floor or tabletop.
π³ Is Earthing Real? Yes! Scientific studies have shown that direct skin contact with the earth, for example standing barefoot on a lawn, helps reduce inflammation and improve circulation, sleep quality, and energy. However, nowadays we rarely touch the earth directly. Earthing products solve this problem by acting as an extension of the earthβusing a conductive material to connect to the earth via the grounding line of a socket. This connection allows free electrons from the earth to be transferred onto our bodies, having an anti-oxidative effect.
π³ Set-Up: snap the grounding cord onto the mat, and plug the other end of the cord into the grounding socket of an electrical outlet. Each of our products comes with an adapter (if needed) for your country, as well as a nylon-encased 4.6m black earthing cord. Our earthing cords are engineered to have 100kΞ© of resistance, providing safety against accidental shocks, while still enabling earthing.
π³ Uses: This mat is commonly placed on the floor for bare feet to rest on, or on top of a desk for contact with arms or hands. As long as some bare skin is in contact with it, earthing will be in effect for the whole body. Please note: socket power does not need to be on in order for the grounding line to work.
π³ Use Details: We recommend several minutes of use each day, which is enough to get most of the benefits of earthing. Longer use is also fine. Oil from our skin may accumulate on the mat and eventually block its conductivity, so make sure to use water to wipe oil residue off of the surface once in a while.
